Cat Dog Amigurumi |
Materials: F Hook, W.W. Yellow, black, and white yarn. Two sets of safety eyes (6mm), Two safety noses in black, poly fiber fill, and pipe cleaners.
Notes: Do not turn unless otherwise
noted. MC = Magic Circle; SC2TOG = Decrease using SC stitches.
Head
(Make Two):
Round 1: 6SC in MC.
Round 2: 2SC in each ST around. (12)
Round 3: SC1, 2SC in next ST around. (18)
Round 4: SC2, 2SC in next ST around. (24)
Round 5: SC3, 2SC in next ST around. (30)
Round 6: SC4, 2SC in next ST around. (36)
Round 7 - 10: SC around.

Round 14: SC around. (8) Fasten off and leave a tail for sewing. Take one pipe cleaner, fold in half, twist
and stuff legs (make sure the pointy ends are pointing upwards so they don’t
poke outside the legs). You might have
to trim the pipe cleaner if it’s to long.
Muzzle
(Make Two):
Round 1: 6SC in MC.
Round 2: 2SC in each ST around, fasten off and leave a
tail for sewing.
Eye
Socket (Make Four):
Round 1: 6SC in MC.
Round 2: 2SC in each ST around.
Round 3: HDC, DC, HDC, SC, SLPST, fasten off and leave
a tail for sewing.
Dog Ears (Make Two):
Row 1: CH5, SC in 2nd
CH from hook and across, CH1, turn. (4)
Row 2 - 8: SC across, CH1,
turn. (4)
Row 9: SC2TOG two times, CH1 and turn.
Row 10: SC2TOG, fasten off and leave a tail for
sewing. Tuck in ends.
Cat
Ears (Make Two):
Round 1: CH3, SC in 2nd CH from hook and in
next CH, CH1, and turn.
Round 2: 2SC in each ST across, CH1, and turn. (4)
Round 3: 2SC in 1st ST, SC2, 2SC in last
ST, CH1, and turn. (6)
Round 4: 2SC in 1st ST, SC4, 2SC in last
ST, CH1, and turn. (8)
Round 5: SC across. (8)
Assembly:
- Plug eyes into whites and then fasten them to the heads of the cat and dog.
- Sew the whites of the eyes.
- Plug nose(s) into muzzle and then fasten them to the heads of the cat dog.
- Sew muzzle onto heads.
- Stuff head.
- Sew on either cat/dog ears.
- Repeat for other head.
- Stuff body with poly-fiber fill, and a pipe-cleaner, leaving the pipe cleaner sticking out of the body on both ends. Make sure the pipe cleaner isn’t so short it will slide out of the head.
- Sew heads to each end of the body.
- Sew on legs.
- If your Catdog head will not stay up, you might want to sew the back of the head to the back of the body.
- Hide all ends.

love this as a play toy for my 2 Cats, they dont tare it etc just roll ^ act weird
