Foundation: CH 20, SC in second chain from hook and across to end, add 2 extra stitches to the last stitch, working opposite side of chain, sc across to last stitch, slip stitch into first SC.
*These rows are done in rounds.*
Row 1: CH 1 and SC in BLO (the one on the inside) around, do not join to 1st SC.
Round 2-11: CH 1, SC in BLO around, do not join to 1st SC.
Round 12: CH 2, HDC in same spot, *CH 1, skip one stitch, HDC in next ST* around, and join to CH 2.
Round 13: CH 1, SC around and join to CH1.
Round 14: CH 1, BSC around, and join to CH1. Fasten off and weave in ends.
Drawstring: CH 60, fasten off and weave in ends. Weave chain in and out of row of HDC (going towards the side of the purse, not the front), pull tight and make a pretty bow to close your purse!
