Cat Head Granny Square

Well, it's nothing special, but I designed it and I am patting myself on the back for it. If you decide to make the square, send a picture my way. The cat head came out kind of 3D. LOL.

Cat Head Granny Square (Not Tested)

Square:
Work a traditional granny square to the size preferred, border with a row of SC or leave as is.

Cat Head:
CH 4, join to form a circle.
12 sc in circle, join to first sc.
CH2, HDC in same st as joining. (1 HDC, 1 HDC increase) around, join to top of CH2
CH 2, HDC in next st and around, join to CH2.
CH 2, HDC in same st. as joining. (2 HDC, 1 HDC increase) around, join to top of CH2.
CH 2, HDC in next st and around, join to CH 2. FINISH OFF. Weave in ends.

Ears (Make Two):
CH 2, 2 SC in second ch from hook, ch 1, turn.
2SC in each st. CH 1, turn.
SC ACROSS, FINISH OFF.

Using same color thread as granny square, sew the head and ears onto the square, in the middle or wherever you desire. Oh and of course, tuck in all your ends.
