I decided on charting the doily, rather than doing written instructions. The drawing isn't that hard to follow, but my paper isn't as big as I would like it to be. Anyways, here are the first few rounds. Do you think it's looking like above yet? LOL.
How about now??? I am currently starting to chart the first set of pineapples. There are two sets if you look closely, the outer rim actually has pineapples, they are just hard to see with the colored border. After I am done with the pattern, I have the thread to repair the doily in the first picture. 
This next round begins the pineapples.
I think it looks pretty good so far.
